Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how BlueFire Marketing & Consulting Firm, LLC ("BlueFire Marketing," "we," "us") collects and uses personal information on our websites, including bluefiremcf.com, bluefirewebsite.com, bluefirepromos.com, bluefirelogos.com, bluefireprint.com and bluefiredirectmail.com, and when you buy from or work with us.
We keep it simple: we collect what we need to answer you and deliver your project, and we don’t sell your information.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill out a quote, audit, contact or onboarding form, we receive what you enter, such as your name, business name, email, phone number, industry, service area and project details.
- Order and billing details. When you pay, Stripe collects your payment details. We receive your name, email, phone number, billing address, business name and what you bought. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Project materials. Content, photos, logos and logins you share so we can build or manage your website or products.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our servers and our security provider (Cloudflare) record basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the sites secure and working.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and prepare a quote or recommendation.
- To process payments, send receipts and manage your plan.
- To deliver your project and contact you about it.
- To keep our websites secure, prevent fraud and spam, and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We send you emails about your request, order or project. We will only send you marketing emails if you have asked for them, and every one will include a way to unsubscribe.
Text messages and your mobile number
If you give us your mobile number and check a text message box (or text us first), we use your number only to send the messages you agreed to: account messages about your request, orders and appointments, and, only if you chose them, occasional marketing messages. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. See our SMS terms for details.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share mobile numbers only with the providers that deliver our texts for us, and only to send them.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we work together and as long as needed afterward for records, taxes and legal obligations, usually up to 7 years for billing records. Inquiries that don’t become projects are deleted after 2 years. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see "Your choices").
How we protect it
Our websites use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payments are handled by Stripe, which is certified to the highest industry security standard. We limit access to your information to the people who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you,
- correct it,
- delete it (unless we need to keep it for legal or billing reasons), or
- stop sending you marketing emails.
To make a request, email or call us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, such as California, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law, and we will honor them. We won’t treat you differently for using your rights.
Websites we host for clients
When we build or host a website for a client, the client decides what information their site collects from its own visitors and is responsible for that site’s privacy policy. We handle that information only to provide our services to the client.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always on this page.
